ceremony for the 10th anniversary of the Adriatic LNG offshore regasification terminal

H.E. Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs of Qatar and CEO of Qatar Petroleum, participated at the ceremony for the 10th anniversary of the Adriatic LNG offshore regasification terminal. The ceremony was held on September 9 at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice at the presence of H.E. Qatar Ambassador to Italy, Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Malki Al Jehani, Liliana Panei, Director of Natural Gas Market and Infrastructures division at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Stefano Saglia, Board Member of the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment (ARERA). The celebration ceremony was attended by many institutional representatives including Maddalena De Luca, Prefect of Rovigo, Ivan Dall’Ara, President of Rovigo province, and Elizabeth Lee Martinez, Consul General at the US Consulate in Milan. The terminal located off the Veneto coasts is a strategic infrastructure for Italy, supplying 10% of national natural gas consumption and contributing to the energy transition towards more sustainable sources
