The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Rome celebrated Qatar National Day on December 18, with a ceremony held at the Westin Excelsior Hotel in Via Veneto in Rome attended by Ambassadors from the region, Italian authorities and friends of Qatar.

 H.E. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Rome, saluted hundreds of guests before giving a speech followed by the cake cutting.
