H.E. Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of the State of Qatar, visited Italian company Leonardo’s factory in Venegono Superiore.

During the visit H.E. Al Attiyah was received by Leonardo CEO, Alessandro Profumo.

This visit is part of a site inspection of the facilities of the International Aviation School to verify its availability to receive the first group of Qatari pilots of the Al-Zaeem Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah Air College and continue their training starting from this coming April.

During the visit a training flight was carried out to learn more about the program planned for the Qatari pilots on the advanced training aircraft (M-346).

During the visit H.E. Al Attiyah was accompanied by H.E. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Italy, Major General Salem bin Hamad Al Nabit, Commander of Qatar Amiri Air Force, Brigadier General Hilal Ali Al Muhannadi, Military Attaché of the State of Qatar to Italy, and by a group of senior officers of Qatar Armed Forces.
