The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Rome lowered its flag at half-mast in observance of three days of National Mourning for the Sultan of Oman, H.H. Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur, who passed away on Friday January 10.

On Monday January 13, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Italy, H.E. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, all the diplomats from the Qatari Embassy in Rome and the Military Attachè, General. Hilal Ali Al-Muhannadi, visited the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Rome to pay their condolences to H.E. Ahmed bin Salim bin Mohammed Baomar, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Italy.
